Hi! It’s lovely to have you here!
My name is Magdalena, and I’m a Norwegian language teacher and educator. I completed my studies at the University of Bergen and Kristiania University College in Oslo.
For me, Norwegian is much more than just a language. It’s part of everyday life, culture and communication – and a skill that can open up so many opportunities, both professionally and personally.
What matters most to me as a teacher is helping my students start speaking and feel more confident. I know that you can learn plenty of vocabulary and grammar rules and still feel nervous about speaking Norwegian at work, at the doctor’s office, at your child’s school, or simply in everyday conversations. That’s why my lessons focus on the Norwegian you actually need and use in real life.
I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and engaging. No unnecessary pressure and no fear of making mistakes. We talk, practise real-life situations, explore Norwegian culture and gradually build the confidence you need to use the language naturally.
